Phone in cancellations one hour prior to the scheduled pick-up to avoid being considered a "no show".
Any occurrence where the person does not show up for a scheduled ride or declines to take the trip when the driver arrives. A rider with One “No-Show”
shall pay $5.00 (cash only) prior to WCTS restarting service. Call us if you have questions regarding the “No-Show” policy.
Any cancellation received less than one hour prior to the scheduled pickup will be considered a late cancellation. A “Late Cancellation” will be considered
a “No Show” and the above “No-Show” policy will apply.
Any passenger requesting a modification to our rules for the purpose of access and utilization of transit service may do so by writing Warren County Grants Administration, 406 Justice Drive, Lebanon, OH 45036, or emailing wctransit@co.warren.oh.us . Phone requests may be made by calling 513.695.1259. Reasonable modifications will be considered with the following exceptions:
Reasonable modifications
- Will not place an undue financial and/or administrative burden on the WCTS and/or their transportation contractors;
- Will not constitute a fundamental alteration of WCTS’s current transportation services, programs or activities;
- Cannot cause a direct threat to the health or safety of others
- Cannot adversely affect the service provided to other WCTS customers;
- Cannot jeopardize the functionality or use of equipment used to provide WCTS’s transit services; and
- May not be approved if the individual with a disability is still able to fully use WCTS services, programs, or activities for their intended purpose without the requested modification
WCTS has established a policy that addresses instances where a customer’s conduct may adversely affect others involved with WCTS. The following identifies
WCTS’s policy:
Hazardous Conduct - Any act which creates the potential for injury or death to any customer, driver or the general public.
Abusive Conduct - Any verbal abuse or a physical act that invades the privacy of others or involves physical contact with another person.
Unintentional Misconduct - Any act that would qualify as misconduct, but is the direct and immediate consequence of the customer’s disability, such as abusive language that is the
consequence of Tourette’s Syndrome.
Consequences of Hazardous or Abusive Conduct:
1st Offense may, depending on the seriousness of the offense, result in a suspension of services
2nd Offense within a one-year period shall result in suspension of services for 60 days
3rd Offense within a one year period shall result in suspension for one (1) year.
Children less than 4 years old and weighing less than 40 pounds must be accompanied by an adult and be properly secured in a carseat provided by the adult.
Children less than 8 years old & less than 4’9”must be secured in a booster seat provided by the adult. Children ages 8-15 must wear seat belts.
Packages and/or bags will be limited to an amount that the passenger can reasonably manage independently.
All wheelchairs & scooters will be secured with four point securements.
